Leap over the boundaries of imagination with sound capabilities that touch your heart.

October 1987 saw the release of the next iteration of NEC’s successful PC-8801 computers, the MA and FA. These were the first to use the new Yamaha 2608 FM synthesis chip, bringing more voice channels and ADPCM audio. New games such as The Scheme, with music composed by the legendary KOSHIRO Yลซzล, took advantage of the new sound hardware to great effect.

The image character in both the magazine and television ad is idol singer and actress SAITลŒ Yuki.
